IMPORTANT NOTICE: By downloading or using the Awktalk application, you agree to these Terms of Service, which constitute a binding End User License Agreement (EULA) between you and Awktalk. Please read section 3 regarding User-Generated Content carefully.
1. License Grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Awktalk application on compatible Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
Awktalk offers optional premium subscription tiers (Pro, Locked In, Super Locked In) to unlock daily battery refilling and reduce turn energy costs:
- Auto-Renewal: Subscription payments are charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Management: You can manage or cancel your auto-renewal subscription at any time by visiting your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
3. User-Generated Content (UGC) Safety Policy
Awktalk includes interactive social features like the Friends List and Small Talk Battles. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable or abusive content:
- Prohibited Content: You must not transmit, post, or share any content that is offensive, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Abusive Behavior: You must not bully, harass, impersonate, or stalk other users.
4. Reporting and Blocking Mechanisms
To protect our community, we provide robust in-app tools to handle objectionable content and behavior:
- In-App Blocking: You can block any user at any time by tapping "Block & Report User" on their Profile Detail sheet. Once blocked, they will be removed from your friends list and cannot challenge you, send you requests, or appear in your leaderboard rankings.
- In-App Reporting: You can report abusive users or objectionable chat logs directly via the Profile Detail sheet.
- Moderation Action: All reported content and profiles are reviewed by our moderation team. **Any offending user or objectionable content will be removed, and the offending user's account suspended, within 24 hours of the report.**
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license to use the application immediately and without notice if you violate these terms, engage in objectionable behavior, or violate App Store guidelines.
